Stars F Benn to play in All-Star game (AP)

The Dallas Stars have activated forward Jamie Benn from injured reserve in time for him to participate in the All-Star game. Benn missed five games while recovering from an emergency appendectomy. He's expected to play in Sunday's All-Star game in Ottawa and be back in the lineup when the Stars return from the break Tuesday at Anaheim.
